BROWNIE
CEILING : BROWNIE Slab

BROWNIE Ceiling Slab, the environmentally friendly range of ECOWOOL glass mineral wool insulation with no added formaldehyde, manufactured by PGF Insulation is specifically designed for fire safety, thermal and acoustic insulation of ceiling system. They are offered in either 0.432m width to suit most ceiling joist centres and can be installed from either below ceiling joists or from above ceiling joists. BROWNIE Slab range encompasses multiple densities, thicknesses and dimensions to suit typical timber or steel framed studs and to satisfy a broad spectrum of building requirements.

The slab provide fire safety, thermal and acoustic insulation while also being soft and less dusty. BROWNIE Ceiling slab is inherently non-combustible and therefore the insulation batts won’t burn if exposed to fire. BROWNIE Ceiling Slabs are supplied in conventional width of 0.432m to suit standard housing construction joists spaced at 450mm centres. BROWNIE Ceiling Slabs are installed by laying them on top of the ceiling in between the ceiling joists. They are also suitable for installation under floors for added energy savings. For safe handling instructions please refer to installation instruction sheet.
