POLYWOOL Board is designed for applications where fire safety, high thermal and acoustic insulation performance is required at minimal thickness. Available in rigid or semi-rigid board form, offered plain or faced with Foil-Scrim-Kraft (FSK) facings materials to complement its base material performance properties.

Manufactured by spinning molten glass, containing up to 80% recycled content, into fine wool like fibres. The inorganic fibres are bonded together using a thermosetting resin binder and the product can be identified by its golden yellow appearance. POLYWOOL Board glass mineral wool insulations are non-combustible, rot-proof, odourless, non-hygroscopic, do not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.


    Custom Curtain Wall Construction

    Standard Metal Panel Construction
    • Field-installed between an interior liner and the outer metal panel using boards that are plain or faced with a factory-applied vapour retarder

    General Construction
    • A versatile insulation, it is also an ideal thermal barrier for masonry or concrete structures such as shopping centers, banks and other types of low-rise buildings. In masonry applications, the glass mineral wool boards faced with an FSK vapour retarder are installed between ‘Z’ or hat channels applied directly to the masonry surface. Normally, gypsum board and/or architectural panels are then used as interior surfaces

    Comply with ASTM C518 at 15°C mean temperature. Thermal conductivity as low as 0.0300W/mK
